Location

The picturesque town of Tuncurry on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales is known as being the sister town to Forster, separated by a stunning bridge which divides the two towns.

The foreshore is absolutely beautiful and is a hub for walking, cycling, fishing or simply taking in the sights across the lake. For those who love the water, set off on a fishing charter, take your own boat out or have a go at paddleboarding - the choice is yours!

Guests will love the nearby beaches, ideal for swimming, surfing or basking in the sun. Nature enthusiasts can explore nearby reserves or take a walk along the breakwall, often spotting dolphins splashing about in the ocean.

If you prefer activities on land, enjoy a round of golf at the award-winning golf course, catch a movie at the local cinema or explore the area's history at the Tuncurry Museum.

Families and kids will love the Splash Water Park at Vincent Fazio Park, while thrill-seekers can make the short 15-minute drive to the Big Buzz Fun Park to enjoy toboggan rides, speed karts, laser tag and water slides.

Tuncurry has terrific cafes, restaurants and shops on offer. Don’t miss waterfront dining at Thirty-Three Degrees or The Deck @ Tuncurry, where you can sip cocktails and enjoy delicious cuisine with stunning views of Wallis Lake.
